Best-selling Lotions For Dry Skin At Sephora
Sephora’s semi-annual spring sale started today (details below), and it’s one I’m always ready to stock up on some of my go-to products for. I’ve been wanting to create a resource for my Sephora skincare and makeup, so this seemed like the perfect opportunity to do so!
Best Body Butters We Tested In 2024
If you’re in the market for new skincare and makeup tips, read on. Most of the products below are recommended for a wide range of skin types and may be what you’re looking for. I shared a little more about my skin type and how I approach testing Sephora products.
This post is not sponsored or produced in partnership with Sehfor, but does contain affiliate links. My main focus for skincare is performance and thoughtful ingredients, so you’ll find almost all of my picks under the “Pure at Suphora” banner. However, take this position with a grain of salt, because “clean” means something different depending on who you talk to. Always check the ingredients and product information to make sure the product is suitable for any of your conditions.
As for the reviews, I take them with a grain of salt. I usually find a better way to evaluate a product is to see what the best sellers are in a category or a specific brand. Reviews can be misleading, and because skincare is so subjective, you can’t always tell what a stranger loves or hates online.
Best Skin Care Gift Sets And Skin Care Gifts In 2022: Sunday Riley, Kiehl’s, Paula’s Choice, Skinceuticals
To determine if a product is effective, I usually give it at least 2-4 weeks of continuous use. I understand that people are often after an instant fix, and sometimes they are, but usually products take longer. That’s why all the products below are in my regimen
I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and dry cheeks, jawline and forehead. I also have quite sensitive skin so I don’t like to change products often. I have blackheads on my nose and hormonal breakouts on my chin and jawline. Also, sometimes I get a puffy rash on my cheeks if I use the mask for hours. In fact, I’ve always found a fun assortment of skin dilemmas to deal with on any given day.
This is a rich gel cleanser that is great for all skin types, especially those prone to minimal breakouts. I love how it dries up mucus and smells really fresh and natural. The formula contains cold-pressed antioxidants to remove makeup, prevent pore clogging and support skin’s pH balance. It’s vegan, cruelty-free and gluten-free and comes in recyclable packaging.
My husband and I have been using this cleanser for about a year now and we both absolutely love it. The formula is a light gel but offers a gentle lather without leaving your skin feeling stripped. It easily removes make-up, excess oil, pollution and dirt that washes away without residue, leaving skin clean and soft. It’s also vegan and cruelty-free.

It’s great year-round and the 5 oz./150 ml. The tube lasts a long time, even if two people use it daily.
This is my go-to cleanser when I’m dealing with breakouts or when I’m traveling (which always breaks out my skin). It immediately lives up to its name and foams. It soothes my skin and visibly reduces inflammation and redness. It’s vegan and comes in recyclable packaging.
A note about my cleanse: I like to do a full double cleanse at night, especially after wearing makeup, and I usually start with this oil cleanser and follow up with one of the products listed above.
This is another summer and travel essential in my skincare routine. It’s gentle enough to use regularly and always leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth and refreshed. My husband also uses it and loves it (although I have to hide it because I caught him using it as a body wash, it’s too expensive for that!) It doesn’t break down or dry and really soothes my skin.

It also comes in a mini size, perfect for testing or traveling and lasts a long time!
This is a really nice product for those who struggle with clogged pores who also have sensitive skin. It’s gentle enough for everyday use (I use Classic) and the texture is nice to massage into the skin. It’s a nourishing Japanese rice bran water-activated exfoliant that transforms into a cream foam for smooth, polished skin. It never leaves my skin feeling raw, stripped or dry.
It’s a shame they don’t offer a smaller size for testing (aside from the multi-pack), however one jar will last a lifetime as you only need a small amount to get a good lather
The texture of this scrub is like no other I’ve tried. I like to use it on my face, neck and décolleté while I’m looking forward to the shower. Amazing for refining skin texture and unclogging pores. I think it really delivers on the brilliance front as well.
The 9 Best Moisturizers With Spf Of 2024, Tested And Reviewed
This is one of those cult favorite products that you see so many beauty bloggers mentioning and I think it lives up to the hype. I love how it instantly minimizes my pores and brightens my skin. I love spritzing it on in the morning after cleansing, to put on makeup, or during the day when I feel like I could use a boost. The fragrance features peppermint, rose and rose, which are therapeutic and uplifting.
This is a great serum for those working to correct hyperpigmentation along with blemishes. I use it during the summer season when my skin is naturally more oily and when I use sunscreen throughout the day. It goes on so smooth and dissolves instantly and wears really well under makeup. This is a vegetarian product.
You’ve probably heard the term “hyaluronic acid” used as a “must-have” in your skin care regimen, and this product is a great choice. I’ve been using it all winter this year and it’s really made a difference in the areas of my face that get dry (cheeks and forehead). Goes on super silky smooth and lifts instantly. It is essentially a cool drink of water for thirsty skin that restores complexion and improves skin texture and tone. This product is vegan and cruelty free.
I keep trying the Vitamin C serum to see if I can make it work. It has mixed reviews, but I’ve been using it for years and think it’s fantastic. It is very strong and it took some time for my skin to get used to it. I have slowly added it to my routine but it has made a huge difference in the overall glow, firmness and evenness of my skin. It works very well to reduce dark spots.

An alternative vitamin C option I recommend is Olehenriksen’s Truth Serum. It has a lovely citrus scent and is more of a gel serum than an oil. It’s not as effective or strong, but it makes the skin look brighter and firmer.
Another option worth trying is the REN Glow Daily Vitamin C Gel Cream. It has a creamy texture with a mild fragrance and I find it very convenient for sensitive skin.
This is another one that I’ve used consistently over the years and really love. I put it on before retinol and moisturizer. This is an AHA/BHA night serum that rejuvenates congested skin by lifting dead skin cells to visibly improve skin tone, texture, fine lines, wrinkles and pores. I love that this is a two-in-one product that is a chemical exfoliant and penetrates deep into the skin to unclog clogged pores.
I’ve tried a lot of eye creams and I almost always find that they leave me with milia around my outer eye which is annoying. This is one of the few products I’ve found that doesn’t cause this, and it works really well to reduce puffiness and dark circles under the eyes. It instantly soothes and cools the skin and you will feel its effects immediately. It also sits well under concealer because it’s so light.

This is the first retinol cream I’ve ever tried and I definitely had to tone it down with weekly use. Once my skin settled down
